Who Exposed The Katipunans Secret Organization?

Andres Bonifacio, a self-educated warehouse clerk with a strong passion for Philippine independence, played a pivotal role in leading the Katipunan Secret Society. This clandestine revolutionary organization was founded in Manila by Bonifacio, and under his guidance, it rapidly expanded its membership, reaching an estimated 100,000 individuals by August 1896. However, the secrecy surrounding the Katipunan was eventually compromised when the Spaniards discovered its existence. The discovery of the Katipunan, a secret revolutionary society in the Philippines, came about through a chain of events that started when Teodoro Patiño, a member of the organization, confided in his sister about its existence. Troubled by this revelation, his sister decided to share the information with the Mother Superior of the orphanage where she resided. As word spread, the details eventually reached the Parish Priest of Tondo.
